2019 PICE-UAE SPLE CE Review

Hey there. If you are a Filipino, with a degree in Civil Engineering, based in the UAE, and looking on how to be a professional member of the Philippine Institute of Civil Engineers, PICE-UAE will be conducting a review/classes/sessions to help you prepare for the Philippine Licensure Examination. You don’t need to go to the Philippines to take the test. You can have the test in the UAE under the Special Professional Licensure Examination (SPLE). Just contact any of the representatives of PICE-UAE and they will be more than happy to point you in the right direction. Once you become successful in passing the examination, you’ll become a legitimate member of the Institution.

Good luck to all who will be sitting for the exam.

PS. If you are currently a member of PICE and are interested in how to become EngTech MICE, give me a shout and I am happy in providing you with some guidance.

Thoughts For The Day (21st November 2018)

“The real issue is not talent as an independent element, but the talent in relationship to will, desire, and persistence. Talent without these things vanishes and even modest talent with those characteristics grows.”

“I go to work every morning with the possibility that I might learn something I don’t already know…. If you look at a problem as an opportunity to show what you already know, it’s useless. You should look at every problem and think, ‘what can I learn by doing this?’ And if you think you can learn nothing, forget about doing it.”

Submit your Revit Ideas

Most of you will probably be aware of Revit Ideas, an Autodesk knowledge network forum where you can “share ideas for future product features directly with the Revit team and collaborate on existing suggestions with your peers”.

If you have something in mind that you want to be added in future releases of Revit, this is your opportunity to share it directly with the Revit Team. Lots of useful new features have been added as a consequence of this forum so it is worth checking out.

You need an Autodesk login before you can submit your idea.

Vote HERE if you want to see in future releases the “Flip the instance facing” in 3D view.
