CSCS certification process now self-service

As a result of changes to both the CSCS test booking and card application process, which now require additional security checks for group applications and all personal data to be entered individually, all examiners need to book their own tests and apply for their own cards.  Making an individual test booking is a quick and easy process.

Card applications are straightforward, requiring just an email to CITB with proof of relevant qualification and a phone call – no application form necessary.

Everyone aiming for CSCS card should sit the Health Safety & Environment Test for Managers and Professionals.

Ensure you are sufficiently prepared before taking your test. There are lots of mock test available in the internet.

Alternatively, download the Revision App here: CSCS Test Prep Materials

When booking your test, you will need to have:

  • National Insurance Number
  • Date of Birth
  • Home address

Test bookings cost £21 and are non-refundable if cancelled within 72 hours of the test date.

You must take photo ID with you to the test centre, just in case it’s needed.

  • Go to CITB test booking site sign-in page
  • Create a User Account and complete all personal details, including home address.
  • At View Exams page choose HS&E Test for Managers and Professionals
  • At Schedule Exam page select test centre location, date and time (the system will default to the test centre closest to your home address)
  • Proceed to the payment page. Payment must be made by card.

Upon submission of your booking you will receive:

  • Confirmation of payment.
  • Confirmation of your test date and time. Enter this in your calendar.

Start your review.

Upon successful test completion, keep the certificate you are given. This will serve as evidence of your competency until your card arrives

Joint ICE and Costain Health and Safety Lecture

Yesterday, I had the opportunity to attend the joint health and safety lecture between the Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE) and Costain that took place at The Institution of Civil Engineers, One Great George Street, Westminster, London, SW1P 3AA. As my online library, I created this article.

ICE and Costain have been doing this joint lecture for over a half-decade to promote health and safety. Both are committed to building foundations of continuing to exchange knowledge on health and safety issues to ensure that the workforce and the public are protected. ICE and Costain join forces in holding this lecture to set standards, to identify and promote best practice, and advance the health and safety agenda.

My BILT Europe 2018 visit has now come to an end

Thank you BILT Europe for the opportunity to be part of the speakers family. My third time presenting my topic this year about Revit-Dynamo-Power BI Workflow but this time, in a class/laboratory setting (with some update and added automation).

Thank you, @Cameron Brennan, for sorting out all the necessary files and software needed for my session.

The Fun Fair gathering last night was really enjoyable, and I had a sleepless night.
