As a Senior BIM Structural Technician with a robust background in civil engineering, I bring over two decades of experience in the industry. My journey has taken me from Riyadh, where I worked as a Designer/Project Engineer at Freelance Interior Design, Architects and Contractor, to Qatar as a Structural Engineer at Diwan, to Dubai as Structural Technician (G3) at Arup, and eventually to the UK working for Ramboll, where I have been making significant contributions since 2015. I started as Senior Technician in Ramboll and eventually promoted to Principal Technician. Currently, I am part of the esteemed team at Arup, where I rejoined in May 2022 as Senior Technician (G5).
My educational background includes a degree in Civil Engineering and certifications such as Autodesk Revit Structure 2015 Certified Professional and Autodesk AutoCAD 2014 Certified Professional. I am also a Technician Member of the Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE), and a Life-time level of membership at the Philippine Institute of Civil Engineers, which underscores my commitment to maintaining high professional standards.
In Dubai, I started my BIM career with Arup in 2008, where I worked for almost seven years. During this time, I was involved in various projects such as tall buildings, commercial buildings, airports, and refurbishments. This experience provided me with a solid foundation in structural design and BIM, which I have continued to build upon throughout my career.
Since rejoining Arup in May 2022, I have been involved in various high-profile projects, including the “Film Studio Project” (Park Plaza) and the “50 Fenchurch Street” project, where I led a team of technicians to deliver Stage 4. My international experience and technical expertise enable me to tackle complex challenges and deliver innovative solutions that meet client needs.
At Arup, I play a pivotal role in leading the structural drafting and BIM coordination for high-profile projects. My responsibilities include implementing BIM strategies, creating detailed structural models using Autodesk Revit, and ensuring seamless collaboration across multidisciplinary teams. One of my notable achievements at Arup includes leading the BIM delivery of Film Studio Project (otherwise known as Park Plaza) project where I lead about 15 technicians, and the “50 Fenchurch Street” project, where I developed a Revit tool that extracts project data and integrates it with Power BI for interactive data visualisation. I also created a tool that extract Revit data to automate the Arup Project Embodied Carbon Calculation (PECC).

Notably, I was commended for my exceptional work on the “50 Fenchurch Street” project, where my efforts in BIM coordination and structural design were highly praised by my project team. Additionally, I have been acknowledged for my dedication and hard work, receiving appreciation from senior management for my commitment to delivering high-quality results.
